How To Improve Google PR

How To Improve Google PR

Hundreds of pages are created every second of the day and there are billions of pages already existing on web. We mean to say that PageRanking is not as easy job as you think. It is a complex process which involves a lot of mathematical calculations and scientific methods. Google is one of the best search engines on which many other search engines depends.
PageRank is a method through which Google defines the relevance of a page. There are many factors that affect PageRanks but no one exactly knows how PageRank is calculated by Google. Many people have their own view about how PageRank is calculated by Google. Some says there is an equation that is used to determine the PageRank. The equation is PR(A) = (1-d) + d(PR(t1)/C(t1) + … + PR(tn)/C(tn)) where ‘t1 – tn’ are pages linking to page A, ‘C’ is the number of outbound links and ‘d’ is a damping factor which is usually set to 0.85.
When we are talking about PageRank then we should keep in mind that all links are not weight the same when it comes to PR eg. If you have a web page which has 1 link then it will get decent PR value. But if you put 50 or 100 links on to the page then each link will get only a fraction of the Pr value. If you are not getting enough incoming links then you need not worry as it has no impact on PR. If you are frequently changing the content of the page and expect a positive change in the PageRank then it is not possible as your content is of no value when it comes to calculating PageRank. We must know that PageRank can’t determine the rank of the whole website but only of an individual page and high page rank doesn’t mean high search ranking.
If we talk about inbound links then each inbound is very important for PageRank. Although banned sites don’t need to bother as there inbound links don’t count. Effective internal onsite linking has a positive effect on PageRank. It is also a considerable point that the values of PageRank don’t fall in between 0-10 because it is a floating number. It is progressively harder to reach each PageRank level because it being calculated on a logarithmic scale like we calculate the intensity of earthquake on Richter scale and it is exponential in calculation. The mathematics behind Google PageRank is very complex which makes it a fair play.
Now after understanding all the factors related to Google PageRank we can say that there are many ways through which one can improve his web Pages PR. But none of the above mentioned factors guarantee you the number one spot because we have already said that there is no one who knows the exact method which Google uses to determine a PageRank. These factors are just research based and surely helpful to improve the PageRank.
