Brand Ambassador of CWG, Saina says Delhi not ready for Commonwealth Games

Badminton star Saina Nehwal, Brand Ambassador of Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi says Delhi is still not ready for Commonwealth Games 2010.

She said, "I went to the Melbourne Commonwealth Games (2006) and Beijing  Olympics (2008) and I don't think we can match them. There, the facilities are excellent, we're nowhere near that. But I think we'll be ready by the end of this month," Saina said on the sidelines of a promotional event for a corporate badminton tournament here.

After her comments she realized & She said, "I am very very sorry. I should not have said such things. I don't know why I said that. I am annoyed with myself as I don't mean that. My apologies to all who feel aggrieved by my comments"

Commonwealth Games 2010 - Theme Song 'Oh Yaaro'

Music mastro A.R Rahman launched the official song for Commonwealth Games - Delhi 2010. Oscar winning composer A.R. Rahman has dedicated the Games theme song "O yaaro India Bulaye" to Mahatma Gandhi. It has been discussed and composed by A. R. Rahman, directed by Shyam Benegal and produced Bharat Bala. Group of ministers, headed by Mr. Jaipal Reddy has approved the song which will be made public in 10 days. The Oscar winner has urged everyone by requesting all to do their best in making this games festival a grand success.

Micromax Cup Tri-Series 2010

Team India faltered at the last hurdle, as Sri Lanka won the Micromax Cup Tri-Series 2010. The Lankans thrashed India by 74 runs to avenge the Asia Cup final defeat.

It was a power-packed performed by the Sri Lankans, while the Indian bowlers and batsmen disappointed yet again. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat. The Indian bowlers bowled poorly to allow the Lankans to play big shots.

Volkswagen Phaeton

Luxury car heavy weight Volkswagen has announced to launch its royal sedan variant Volkswagen Phaeton in India. The luxury sedan will will be build on the same platform which is used to build Audi R8. Volkswagen Phaeton will be launched in both petrol & diesel variants with an excellent combination of designing and technology.

Both the variants of Volkswagen Phaeton will have automatic transmission option. The diesel variant is loaded with 3.0L, V6 TDI diesel engine with six speed manual transmission gearbox producing 240PS of maximum power. The petrol variant will be equipped with 6.0L, W12 petrol engine with five speed automatic transmission gearbox that produces 450PS of maximum power.

Maruti Alto K10 Model

Maruti has launched an all new version o its best selling car - Maruti Alto. The top selling car in India has got its successor in the form of Maruti Alto K10. The new variant comes equipped with the company's most popular 1.0L, K10 engine. The new Alto K10 has got some cosmetic changes including dynamic hood, eagle eyed clear lens headlamps, fog lamps and body colored bumpers.
